Last night’s Art Walk did not disappoint. Streets were flooded with people, boutiques stayed open late, and galleries turned dance parties with DJ’s spinning and wine flowing. People-watching is always decent at Art Walk, especially as the hipsters spared no detail as they perused the streets in floral blazers and Pharrell hats. The art was plenty inspiring; a lot of what caught my eye was lighting and texture.
I popped into Kapsoul to see their ever eclectic collection of cosigned womenswear, retro menswear and random houseware. I was tempted to buy some Santa Fe inspired turquoise jewelry and already regretting not doing so.
Till the next one…
Charming Downtown architecture
One of the galleries I visited
Dim lights in this gallery created playful shadows
Outstanding color blocking
Coated twigs and branches made for cool texture
Irregular coats of paint
